• daisy : a small flower with white petals and a yellow centre that often grows in grass 
• marmalade : a kind of jam made from oranges
• creep : to move very carefully and secretly so that nobody sees you
• waistcoat : a piece of clothing htat covers the upper doby but not the arms and usually has buttons down the front, worn over the shirt
• pile : objects positioned one on top of another
  ex) a pile of books
• whisker : any of the long , stiff hairs growing on the face of cat, mouse, or other mammal

Narrator 안녕하세요. 엘리스는 토끼굴의 바닥에서 아주 이상한 모험을 하고 있습니다. 그녀는 정말 그녀를 아주 작게 만드는 음료수를 마셨습니다. 그러나 그녀는 아름다운 정원으로 통하는 작은 문을 열수 있는 열쇠에 닿기위해 더 커지고 싶었습니다. 그녀가 작은 유리상자 안에서 찾은 케이크를 조금 먹은 후에 엘리스는 뭔가를 느끼기 시작하는데... * Grammar : present and past simple passive - I was told to be early : 나는 일찍오라고 지시받았다.

 

• indeed : (강조) 정말
• curioous : (사물) 특이한, 기이한 (사람) 호기심이 많음
• in excitement : 흥분해서
• patter : 후두두하는 소리를 내다. 가볍게 걸어가다
  pattering of feet :  발걸음 소리
• Duchess : 공작부인
• splendidly : 호화롭게, 화려하게

• footman : 하인. a footman is a male servant who typically does jobs such as opening doors or serving food, and who often wears a special uniform.
• sneeze : 재채기하다 When you sneeze, air and often small drops of liquid suddenly come out of your nose and mouth in a way you cannot control
  ex) Cats make him sneeze
• Cheshire-Cat : 체셔 고양이. If someone is grinning like a Cheshire cat or like the Cheshire cat, they are smiling very widely.
  ex) He had a grin on his face like a Cheshire Cat.

  a playing card with a 'face' which has a value higher than 10 and lower than Queen
• hedgehog : 고슴도치
• mallet : 크로켓 채. a tool like a hammer with a large, flat end made of wood or rubber
• trial : 재판. the legal process where people look at evidence to decide if someone is guilty or innocent of a crime
